117. Foretify™ V-Suites

Foretify™ V-Suites is Foretellix’s comprehensive Verification and Validation (V&V) scenario library, built using the OpenSCENARIO DSL standard. It provides a rich set of predefined test plans, abstract scenarios, maps, coverage metrics, KPIs, and checkers, designed to support efficient, scalable and thorough testing of autonomous vehicles (AVs) in simulation.

V-Suites is organized into two complementary libraries:

  • Generation V-Suite: Produce scalable abstract scenarios using constraint-based generation and Smart Replay. It enables the creation of both new test cases and controlled variations of real-world scenarios to explore edge cases and improve coverage within the operational design domain (ODD).

  • Evaluation V-Suite: Perform passive, post-simulation analysis. It detects scenario matches in logs, extracts KPIs, identifies violations, and calculates coverage metrics. It provides consistent evaluation of both simulated and physical test results and enables effective triage, traceability, and system performance assessment.

The two libraries work together in a feedback loop:

  • Generation V-Suite creates scenarios to test variations in real-world scenarios.

  • Evaluation V-Suite identifies gaps in the scenario coverage or under-tested behaviors.

  • Generation V-Suite uses this feedback to produce new or modified scenarios that address those gaps.

This closed-loop process enables systematic coverage improvement, faster validation cycles, and supports regulatory and safety case requirements through a unified, data-driven approach.
