46. Calculating the VGrade

The VGrade is the overall coverage grade for selected test suites.

VGrade calculation occurs in the following cases:

• For the selected test suite result when creating a workspace (typically the most recent test suite)

• When a new test suite result is uploaded to Foretify Manager and matches the capture rule in a workspace

• When publishing a local filter

• When the VPlan is replaced

• When explicitly clicking on Calculate

VGrade calculation:

To calculate the VGrade after changing the active test suite result in a workspace, click Calculate next to the VGrade.

Depending on the number of test suite results in the workspace, it might take a while to update the VGrade. The progress of the calculation is reflected on top of the Calculate button.

An indicator shows the progress of the calculation.

Click Stop to cancel the calculation. The VGrade will revert to the existing value.
