440. ESA with traffic variants

  • Traffic on either side includes vehicle in Front Dynamic Area (FDA), Side Dynamic Area (SDA) or on both FDA and SDA. FDA is the area ahead of the ego where a vehicle is traveling in a lane next to the Ego's lane. SDA is the area behind the ego where a vehicle is traveling in a lane next to the Ego's lane and may overtake the ego at some point.
